Wall Handstand: How to Do It and When to Progress
- Intermediate

How to do it
Place your hands shoulder-width about a hand's width from the wall and kick your legs up until your heels rest on the wall. Push the floor away with straight arms, belly tight, head between your arms. Hold the position and come down with control.
Target range
Aim for 20 to 45 seconds in each set.
Ready for the next step
When you reach 45 seconds in every set, you are ready for the next level: Chest-to-Wall Handstand.
Where it fits
Step 1 in the Handstand progression, which runs from easier to harder. This progression builds on Elevated Pike Push-ups.
