Incline One-Arm Push-ups: How to Do It and When to Progress
- Intermediate

How to do it
Place one hand on a bench or table edge, feet wide, body straight, free hand on your back. Lower your chest to the edge, elbow close to your body, and press back up. Do all reps, then switch sides.
Target range
Aim for 5 to 8 reps per side in each set.
Ready for the next step
When you reach 8 reps in every set, you are ready for the next level: Negative One-Arm Push-ups.
Where it fits
Step 1 in the One-Arm Push-up progression, which runs from easier to harder. This progression builds on Archer Push-ups.
