Deficit Wall Handstand Push-ups

How to do it

Place two parallettes about a hand's width from the wall and kick up into a handstand on them, heels on the wall. Lower your head with control below the level of the handles, as far as feels comfortable for your shoulders. Press back up until your arms are straight.

Target range

Aim for 3 to 6 reps in each set.

Ready for the next step

When you reach 6 reps in every set, you are ready for the next level: Freestanding Handstand Push-ups.

Where it fits

Step 5 in the Handstand Push-up progression, which runs from easier to harder.
