Copenhagen Plank: How to Do It and When to Progress
- Intermediate

How to do it
Lie on your side in front of a bench or chair, forearm under your shoulder, and rest the inside of your top foot on the seat. Lift your hips until your body forms a straight line, bottom leg hanging free. Hold the position, then switch sides.
Target range
Aim for 10 to 20 seconds per side in each set.
Where it fits
Step 2 in the Copenhagen Plank progression, which runs from easier to harder. This is its hardest step.
